The wordmark becomes a soft knot

The last O does not visibly unwind into the finished mark. It is replaced by a small, rounded six-loop figure; that figure grows, turns, and develops the angular interwoven center. The final part of the turn is much slower than the initial shape change.

What to watch

  • Letters disappear in discrete steps, but the remaining text also shifts horizontally between those steps. Deletion and re-centering overlap; they are not one static typewriter effect.
  • The last circular O is visible at 44.816667 s. The next delivered frame, at 44.833333 s, contains the six-loop figure. No intermediate O-to-six-path construction is visible in this source.
  • Early lobes are rounded and converge tightly at the center. Later frames open a central hole and straighten the inward segments while the silhouette grows. A rotated copy of the final logo cannot explain those changes.
  • The mark is already recognizable while its orientation is still changing. Compare 45.367 s, 45.767 s, and 46.033 s: recognition, approach, and quiet tail are different moments.

What the frames cannot tell us

The source shows geometry changing, not its implementation. It does not identify vector topology, a trim-path operation, a rotation angle, or a spring. The quiet landmark is a visual judgment, not a recovered final keyframe.

Adaptation, not reconstruction

For an original mark, separate the text exit, a simple intermediate silhouette, the shape change, and a restrained settling tail. Keep enough empty space for the final small movement to remain legible.

The Codex app film uses the same recognizable O-to-soft-knot vocabulary, but the delivered motion is quicker than the agent example. Lower frame rate alone does not explain the different timing.

What to watch

  • The complete wordmark loses its I at 129.796 s, reaches a single O at 130.047 s, and hands over to the rounded figure at 130.130 s.
  • The first symbol-to-angular-structure progression occupies fewer source-time seconds than in the agent example. Compare actual timestamps rather than equal frame numbers across 23.976 fps and 60 fps sources.
  • The center opens while the perimeter grows and turns. Around 131.131 s the mark is visually quiet, leaving a longer reading hold than the ChatGPT Images excerpt.

What the frames cannot tell us

These are different delivered films, not proof of a shared animation file or a universal timing preset. Compression and subtle later edge changes prevent treating the selected quiet frame as a bit-identical freeze boundary.

Choose pacing in seconds, then inspect at the export frame rate. Reusing the same number of frames across formats changes the duration.

This ending does not delete the product name one letter at a time. A complete title is followed immediately by a substantially developed rounded knot, which then sharpens and turns toward its final appearance.

What to watch

  • The last title frame at 53.667 s and the next frame at 53.700 s have no visible blend between them. The center crop trims the outer title letters; the context video shows the complete title.
  • The first visible knot is larger and further developed than the first knot in the agent example. Do not assume every film includes the smallest six-loop starting state.
  • The angular structure arrives before the subtle settling turn ends. The quieter landmark at 54.600 s leaves only about 0.63 s before this excerpt ends.

What the frames cannot tell us

A delivered-frame cut establishes the visible handoff, not how the original layers were authored. The source may use a shortened or differently timed animation; reuse of an identical asset is not established.

Adaptation, not reconstruction

A direct title-to-symbol cut can be cleaner than making every closing card use the same letter-deletion effect. Retain the slower finishing movement if it supports the spoken ending.

  • The selected window begins with a pink dot. At 38.100 s it is green; at 38.166667 s it has been replaced by a small black six-loop figure.
  • There is no visible translucent crossfade from the green dot to the black outline in the adjacent delivered frames. The full excerpt retains the earlier collage collapse for context, but that collapse was only overview-sampled.
  • The symbol expands and its interior becomes angular, then a quieter turn continues. The sequence uses color before the mark rather than simply tinting the final mark.

What the frames cannot tell us

The first-frame handoff is exact to this delivered cadence; the visual phase labels are interpretive. The selected window ends during a quiet tail, not a proven perfectly static hold.

What to watch

  • The title remains through 42.716667 s. At 42.733333 s it is replaced by a tiny colored seed, so a wide contact sheet can make the handoff look like a blank frame.
  • The most obvious growth happens early: compare 42.800 s, 42.950 s, and 43.200 s. The white glyph is visible while the overall form is still small and angled.
  • By about 43.650 s the terminal glyph is close to level and the silhouette is near its reading size. Later shading changes remain, so the closing hold is not necessarily a pixel-identical still.

What the frames cannot tell us

The colored surface is visibly shaded; a particular 3D pipeline or physical material cannot be recovered from it. The first tiny seed is easy to lose in a re-encode, which is why the inspector uses direct source crops.

For an original presentation identity

Borrow the sequence,
not the mark.

This is a proposed production approach, not OpenAI’s animation recipe or an approved storyboard.

  1. Resolve the final message before asking the viewer to read a new identity.
  2. Choose the handoff deliberately: a clean cut, a shrinking wordmark, or a simple intermediate shape.
  3. Design the changing silhouette and negative space; do not assume scale and rotation can do all the work.
  4. Separate the main arrival from a slower approach to the reading pose.
  5. Judge the hold against the actual recorded speech and closing pause, not a generic film timing.

Keep the playback jobs separate

The opening content transition cues manual talking-head playback in OBS. A closing logo is a different event. Plan the presentation finish on the shared timeline so the talking-head wave/pause is still running; do not derive the buffer from these reference films.

Keep the identity original

Source marks, footage, and demo data are references for commentary, not production assets. Use your own visual identity and real product UI. No replacement voice, talking head, soundtrack, or rendering approval is implied by this study.

Evidence & limits

What this inspection establishes.

Every decoded frame in the stated windows was visually inspected. Direct 640 × 400 center crops from 1920 × 1080 source frames; lossless WebP crop encoding, no spatial upscaling or temporal interpolation. Context clips are silent, resized, native-cadence re-encodes. All times are source presentation timestamps, not recovered editor keyframes. Displayed frame numbers are one-based within each window; JSON frame indices and source indices are zero-based.

A first-visible handoff is bounded by consecutive delivered frames. Other phases and quiet landmarks are visual judgments. A quiet reading pose is not proof of pixel-identical stillness or an exact final keyframe.

Six deeper examinations within the existing 100-film collection, not six newly counted films or additions to the 100-motion-study count. It does not establish the original easing curves, masks, path topology, software, layer count, or 3D setup. No audio analysis was performed.
